InsightBolt Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

InsightBolt is an AI-assisted content platform that helps you plan, create, repurpose, and optimize social media and marketing content. The Service uses third-party artificial intelligence models to generate content based on your inputs.

AI-generated content may not be accurate, original, non-infringing, appropriate for your audience, or compliant with the terms of a social media platform. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving content before publishing, sending, or otherwise using it.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your country if that is older, to create an account. You confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

4. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support.insightbolt@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Plans, billing, and subscriptions

• Free plan: A limited number of generations ("credits") are provided at no cost, as described in the app.
• Pro plan: A paid monthly subscription that removes the credit cap across the available tools. The current price is shown at checkout.
• Payments are processed by Flutterwave. We do not store your full card details.
• Pro subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from within the app. Your Pro access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
• Refunds are governed by our separate Refund Policy.
• We may change pricing for future billing periods and will make reasonable efforts to notify existing subscribers in advance.

6. Your content and Content Profile

You retain ownership of the text, writing samples, and information you submit to the Service ("Your Content"), as well as content generated for you based on it.

By submitting Your Content, you grant us a limited license to process it, including sending it to our third-party AI provider, solely to operate and improve the Service for you. We do not sell Your Content or use it to personalize or improve the Service for other users.

You are responsible for ensuring that Your Content and anything you generate using the Service comply with the law and do not violate another person's rights.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate or distribute unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or fraudulent content
• Generate spam or content intended to deceive or manipulate audiences at scale
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure
• Violate the terms of a platform where you publish generated content
• Impersonate a person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with one

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and underlying systems, belongs to InsightBolt or its licensors. These Terms grant you only the right to use the Service as intended.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including AI model providers, Flutterwave for payments, and Supabase for hosting, authentication, and databases. Your use of those services may also be subject to their applicable terms.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED OUTPUT WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.

The Service is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical, or other regulated advice.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or discontinue the Service, or parts of it, with reasonable notice where practical.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify active users by email or in-app notice. The updated version will include a new "Last updated" date.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, unless a mandatory law in your country requires otherwise for consumer protection.
